Plan de Corones is a very popular destination all year round. With one of the cable cars operating from mid-May to early November, you can reach the summit and enjoy the breathtaking 360° panorama. You can also look forward to the adrenaline-fuelled giant swing, two incredible museums and hiking trails.

In the Gitschberg Jochtal area, you can take the Gitschberg cable car to the summit of the same name, where you’ll find a stunning view from the viewing platform. A ride on the Jochtal cable car from Valles also offers spectacular views. The cable cars are free at certain times of the year!

Discovering the Dolomites

The Dolomitenblick is the ideal starting point for reaching some magnificent, world-renowned destinations in the Dolomites.

Make sure to set aside a day to visit the extraordinary Lake Braies in the heart of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park, bearing in mind, however, that during the high season you cannot reach it by car but only by shuttle bus.

The villages in the Puster Valley from Brunico to the Austrian border and the side valleys branching off to the south are quintessential Dolomite destinations, such as San Candido, Sesto, Dobbiaco, Val di Landro and Val Fiscalina.

Among the valleys branching off to the north, the Anterselva Valley, with its magnificent lake in the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park, holds a special charm.

The Val Badia, nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, is also well worth a visit, boasting two large nature parks and world-famous peaks.
