When you think of the cold winter season, you automatically think of skiing, skating and tobogganing. Like hiking, cross-country skiing is making a come-back. In comparison to traditional skiing, this sport, which used to be thought of as a sport for grandmas, is inexpensive and easily accessible. Long car journeys into the skiing areas become redundant and in addition, 95 percent of your muscles are toned up.
Today, Terento offers the ideal platform for the revival of this winter sport. At the beginning of December a thick, white blanket of snow covered the meadows and woods and the snow is enchanting as it sparkles in the radiant sunshine. This magical setting with its seven kilometres of freshly marked cross-country ski tracks virtually invites two solitary skiers to follow its curves.
These hours of stillness are the true gift for all of us!
Give it a try!
