program summer 2020
“From grain to bread” - experience family hike
Every Monday 01.06.-19.10.2020
During this walk, we visit a farm where you can experience the life of farmers. At the same time, you can look at the bread baking in the old stone oven and taste the freshly baked “Bauernbreatl”. From the farm we walk further into the Terner Mill Valley, where we find a lot of grain mills and the earth pyramids. We visit a mill in function. So you can experience how by the force of the water, which is transferred to the various components of the mill, the grain is grinded between the millstones and finally gets to flour.
Start: 09.00 am Tourist Association Terenten; Return at about 14.00 clock.
Fee: Included in Holidaypass Premium
Registration: until MONDAY 08.30 in your accommodation.

Guided hikes - Early Summer 04.06.-02.07.2020
Gönneralm and Hochnall
Subject: Rules of Conduct for Huts
Walk through the Wielental Valley (912 m) by Perca, at first steep,
then only slightly uphill in the forest, around a mountain ridge to the
Bärenbach stream. Following the stream, continue steeply uphill
again to the Jägerhaus. The next section of the route is another
short stretch through the forest, then over the alpine pasture to the
mountain ridge, past a small lake and again slightly uphill for a
while to the next elevation, then across to the Hochnall (2337 m).
Here we are rewarded with a lovely view of the Dolomites,
the Kronplatz, the Hohe Tauern and, on clear days, even as far
as the Grossvenediger.
On the way back down there’s time to stop for a break
at the Gönneralm, before hiking back to the starting point.
Guided hikes - High Summer 09.07.-20.08.2020
Dolomites: La Val – Prà de Rit meadows
Subject: Ladin Culture
From the starting point at Fontanela (1498 m) overlooking La Val,
the hike begins partially in forest, partially through meadows
with wonderful views of the La Val towards Ju de Rit (1863 m),
where we can admire the biotope of a small lake. The route then
continues to the summit of the Crusc de Rit (2021 m) with a fantastic
panoramic view of Val Badia, with St. Vigil in Enneberg and the
Sas dla Crusc (2055 m). We return to the Prà de Rit meadows
and follow the trail to Jú de Sant Antone. We then pass through
Civazza and onwards to the village of Pascá. It is wonderful
how the trail constantly changes; in places it is rocky, in others
grassy or woody.
From the village of Pascá we return to the starting point.
Guided hikes - Autumn 27.08.-08.10.2020
Subject: Nature Park
Very varied circular hike with summit ascent
in the Rieserferner Ahrn Nature Park.
The Bramstaller, one of Bruneck’s “local” mountains, rises up on
a broad ridge. The mountain, which offers magnificent views, can
be reached without any considerable difficulty. The route begins in
the large car park in the “Mühlbacher Talele” (1600 m) and goes
past cultivated pastures, ascending comfortably. Only towards the
end of the hike does the good path become increasingly steep.
After approx. 800 m it reaches the small cross (2559 m) on the
mountain ridge. A fabulous all-around view is excellent compensation
for your efforts!
