MONDAY

“FROM GRAIN TO BREAD” – Experience family hike

Every Monday 16.05. – 17.10.2016

During this walk, we visit a farm where you can experience the life of farmers. At the same time, you can look at the bread baking in the old stone oven and taste the freshly baked “Bauernbreatl”. From the farm we walk further into the Terner Mill Valley, where we fi nd a lot of grain mills and the earth pyramids. We visit a mill in function. So you can experience how by the force of the water, which is transferred to the various components of the mill, the grain is grinded between the millstones and finally gets to flour.

Start at 9 a.m.; Return at about 2.30 p.m.

 WEDNESDAY

Natur experience to the SUNRISE

Every second Wednesday 01.06. - 05.10.2016

Climb to the summit with head lamps: 1 - 2 hours, approx. 600 m difference in altitude.

Descent to the mountain pasture. There cosy, original mountain breakfast. Return to the starting point.

Guided walk: A scenic hike around Sasso Putia-Peitlerkofel

One of the true Dolomites classics: A scenic hike around Sasso Putia-Peitlerkofel in the Badia valley's Puez Odle-Puez Geisler Nature Park. Set off from Passo delle Erbe-Würzjoch (2000 m). Total hiking time: 6 h. Highest point: Forcella di Putia-Peitlerscharte (2357 m). Difference in altitude: 600 m.

SUMMER (30.06. – 25.08. 2016)

Guided hike with glacier views: Stalliler to Kreuzkofl

Setting off from the Stalliler mountain inn (1472 m), a narrow path leads into the woods of the Rio Torbo-Trippach valley.  From there, the new forest road soon reaches the first mountain pastures with their striking multitude of flowers, among which many wild orchids. The Hofer

mountain inn is the ideal spot for a well-deserved break before the hike continues along the trail marked 19 all the way to the Kegelgassl inn (2109 m). From there, a climb to the top of Sasso della Croce-Kreuzkofl (2420 m) is rewarded with unforgettable panoramic views. The way back down leads along the Rio Torbo-Trippach ridgeway towards the Stalliler inn. The hike along this narrow mountain ridge is a well-kept secret among the locals and absolutely worth it. Finally, a short stop at the Stalliler inn rounds off this splendid day out. Total walking time: 5-6 hours. Difference in altitude: 950 m

AUTUMN (01.09. – 13.10. 2016)

Guided hike to the top of Forca Grande-Großer Gabler of Bressanone-Brixen

A hike across three peaks: first to the Rossalm pastures, then to the top of Monte Fana Grande-Pfannspitze (2545 m) and on to the smaller and the main Forca Grande-Großer Gabler peaks. Descent to the Aferer Alm-Malga Eores pastures and the Schatzerhütte inn for food and drinks, then back to the Rossalm pastures along a scenic mountain inn route. Total hiking time: 5 h. Difference in altitude: 800 m.
