Hiking, climbing and biking in the Dolomites
Hiking in the Dolomites
Terento is ideally situated for hiking in the Monti di Fundres (to the north) as well as in the Dolomites (to the south). The Monti di Fundres are characterized by a great number of streams and lakes; here you will find numerous solitary trails and quiet side valleys. There are many opportunities for high glacier tours and hiking tours to Alpine refuges.
The Dolomites extend to the south of Val Pusteria and were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 2009. There are high Alpine trails and fixed rope routes for you to climb as well as hiking trails leading through gentle Alpine pasture landscapes. And always right before your eyes are the spectacular mountain pinnacles and summits of the Dolomites.
